There are plenty of things I'd like to know about a client before working together. Unfortunately, you can only ask so many personal questions before things start to get a little weird.

In the freelance biz, the lack of face-to-face interaction can cause an ugly dissociation between an actual human being and their email address. Terrible, I know. It's much easier to get a "feel" for someone when you're sitting right across from them, but when it's screen to screen things start to blur together. That's why I greet every new client with my Intake Survey; it helps me get to know not only their needs but the certain nuances of their personality as well.

I hope to return the favor by offering 100% transparency about who I am as a person and as a professional, and the values I strive to uphold in life.

What it comes down to is it's you guys looking at your computer screen right now (Yeah, you.) who have me at the disadvantage. Thanks to social media you can literally dip your head into my life and look around for a little while.
